Souvie Update (9/10/21)

Well, it's been nearly 22 months since we've been to Disneyland. So much has changed and yet some things have remained the same. Either way, it's great to be back!

Souvies have been kind of a mixed bag. We got here late on Thu (9/9) afternoon.

Halloween Round Popcorn Bucket: Readily available at all of the popcorn stands that I've walked by in DL. It's actually the only option I've seen.

Halloween Travel Mug: Readily available at the CS locations in DL.

Stainless Steel Travel Mug: Saw it at Galactic Grill, Jolly Holiday, and Refreshment Corner.

Madame Leota Sipper and Jack Skellington Sipper: Saw both at the French Market.

Sapphire Glow Diamond: Mint Julep Bar. It glows blue or turquoise.

Jungle Boat: Tropical Hideaway and the fruit stand in Adventureland.

Mickey and Minnie straw clip: At Jolly Holiday and being sold in the first shop on the right on Buena Vista Street.

There is also a shiny red poison apple mug. I've seen it at random places (e.g., the fruit cart in Fantasyland).

The Pym Taste Kitchen has four glow "cubes": a red or blue particle vial and a red of blue disk.

The Mickey Ear Hat Bowl is available at Clarabelle's with your choice of standard sundaes.

Mickey Mummy Popcorn: I have not seen this one (yet).

Brief Update:
Galactic Grill has the travel mug from a couple of years ago. It's the one with the character blocks and a dark background. They also have the Kyle Ren ship sipper.

Clarabelle's has the Oogie Boogie dice cubes.

The Town Square popcorn stand and TL churro cart have the Mickey Pumpkin bottle topper.

Still no Mummy Mickey popcorn bucket...

Magic Key Refillable popcorn bucket. Refills are $1.50 through Nov 10. I found it at the Hub Popcorn stand.

Paddy Frog light-up sipper from Batuu. The screw top lid is not leak proof.

I was back in the parks earlier this week (Sun-Wed) and it was surprising to see the difference in terms of the souvie items. Still no Mickey Mummy popcorn bucket, but even the 2021 Halloween DL popcorn and travel mugs were gone. I didn't check everywhere, but mostly I saw the 2019 DL Halloween popcorn bucket and the 2019 travel mug. DCA did have a new round Halloween bucket (it looks a lot like the 2019 one, with moderate changes). Smokejumpers no longer had the Jack head bucket. The stainless steel mugs were also a lot harder to find. Magic Key buckets were still plentiful.
