So what did you get??

I was making ice-cubes in my new Mickey tray when I thought I might share with you guys.

Apart from the usual clothes and trainers I got-
*mickey ice-cube tray
*car automagnets and mickey ears sticker
*cuddly eeyore
*mickey earrings (nice but a bit big - only brave enough to wear them at home so far!!)
*photo album and frame
*Lovely tink ornament "Let your dreams blossom" - surprise from DH to (try to) cheer me up on our last night :sad1:
*two stretchy mickey bracelets and an anklet
*Lovely pen
*Mickey purse - looked a long time to find a nice one I could afford!

Bet there is more!

I hunted for a nice picture but couldn't find anything that grabbed me. Next year.

Very little actually!
- Toy Story T Shirt - Mr Potato Head 'Don't Make Me Put On My Angry Eyes' one
- :lmao: a Mickey, Donald, Goofy back scratcher I always joke about getting
- Saratoga Springs keyring

-belatedly, an 'It's a Small World' mug for Paula that I saw once I'd got back but the legendary Wayne picked it up for me, which arrived today :)

:goodvibes

Oh Luke, I so want to see that shirt! Any chance of a picture? Oh my goodness ..... here I go again! This is how I came about one of my tags :lmao:

And where did you get the back scratchers? My aunt would love one of those!

Kathryn, did you get one of the WDW photo albums that hold about 200 pics? I soooo wanted to get one from the gift shop but I completely forgot about it. Have to get one next time. I didn't think the price was bad at all - especially when I got home and went to WH Smith to buy some

Back scratchers are everywhere :)

Will post a pic of the shirt in a min, just getting used to posting pictures from my iPad!
It is a great shirt tho - we saw it on our first day, but being the now super homogenised Disney World I assumed i could get it anywhere at a later date. Nope, it was only available at the little store opposite Toy Story Mania, which was great as I love it when stuff is unique to an area but meant we had to make an unplanned trip to DHS later in the trip :)

:goodvibes

Hmmm I didn't have any good photos, this is about the only one with the words visible properly, may have to zoom in :)

Great shirt! I always wanted to get DH a grumpy one which said "Keep talking...I'm not listening anyway." and didn't do it - not there this year.

I picked up the photo album in Wallmart - it was a good price, very cute and hold 200 as you say.

They are a terrible price here. I accidentally printed my Paris photos at 5 x 7 and gave up finding an album - I bought a nice tupperware box and stuck stickers on it. Much cheaper!!

Not into shopping/souvenirs just a few things

Honeydukes sweets jar(with sweets)
Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans
Hogwarts Glass for Karen
Hedwig puppet we bought Matt, very life like, our God daughter is terrified of it.:rotfl2:
Vinylmation keyring for Karen she got what is supposed to be tigger(I just dont get Vinylmation, think they look horrible)
2 Oakley Tshirts for Matt
Converse shoes/trainers for Karen
Hoop Dee Doo photos shared between 3 families

Thats about it I think, we saw a nice pic in Art of Disney by David Doss but it was not a print, I think it was about $5,000, looked for a print but I think it was his latest pic so no prints available.

I love the shirt Luke!!!! :thumbsup2 I want to get something like that for my brother. He is known for wearing statements his shirts :lmao:

Oh we should have done a trade. I bought not one, but two photo albums a few months back. I was so pleased with them - until I realised they are 5x7!

I love my Mickey Measuring cups. I was trying to get rid of all my loose change when we checked out and spotted them in the gift shop. :lovestruc

Oh and non Disney related, Paula got a Coach handbag, make up bag and purse as well as some Bare Escentuals stuff.
I got my latest shiny Apple toy ;)

Hey, if they didn't fly out with you and you bring them back on the plane, they are souvenirs!!! :)

Our biggest space killer was teddies for DD. She just loves them - she maybe got four or five and a talkin Wall-ee. Boy do those things take up space.

On the was home the TSA opened one of our bags and couldn't close it again! It came out towards the end of the baggage - all taped up - thankfully nothing was missing.

Oh the fun we had trying to pack. :scared1: Did it the night before last and very very glad!

Well clearly you were more organised than I was last year! We did evening EMH at Epcot the last night we were there, got back at about 1 am and did MK rope drop on our departure day. I had arranged a 1 pm check out for Magical Express to get us at 2 pm. Of course we just missed a bus from MK and got back to the room at around 12.30. I do keep things neat while we are there but it was a mad rush thowing things in the cases. Then the luggage scales said one was too heavy so I had to jiggle things around a bit.

For someone who plans so far ahead for a trip, I sometimes surprise myself at the odd things I leave to the last minute. I have my lists for departure packing and still leave it to the very end as I can fall back on the paper and check things off as I toss them into the cases. This year is going to be a bit different though. I am working until lunch time the day we go to the airport hotel and have to pack in an hour and a half before getting DD from school.

I love a challenge :rotfl:

Now that I couldn't have coped with!!!!! I can't even do a park on the departure day, wouldn't even take ten mins to spend our last three CS credits at Goods to go.

Oh no. I have to get to the airport. Don't relax till I have checked in. Very sad.

This year I am planning an early flight with six hours in New York. At least then I will enjoy more of the last day!!!!

Oh this is a great thread, I love to know what others have brought home and what we can buy when we go in a couple of weeks :)

we have used those space saving bags that you suck the air out of to bring teddies back, loads of space then in the case!

I always buy nice disney photo frames, disney kitchen stuff, and disney ornaments- but I have got so much disney stuff its just getting rediculous and spoils it really as I cant display it all properly :headache: so I'm not going to buy any more ornaments-well thats what I keep telling myself!! :rotfl2:

We always get a fridge magnet and pins showing the year.
Other things between 3 of us for this year.......
4 pairs jeans, 15+ t-shirts 4 pairs shoes, purfume & aftershave.
we got a second canvas holdall on wheels that zips up to carrier bag size - from Wilson Leather shop
I almost got a macbook but hadn't done enough research, so maybe next year :rolleyes1

Ooh well reminded!
We got a magnet with a spinner on it which points to various takeout options as we always have trouble deciding :)

:goodvibes

well as i have postedpreviously, we said we wernt bringing much back this year but ended up with
14 mickey crispy heads for dh s footie team- boy are they heavy!
lunchboxes and bags for school x3
10 pairs of new shoes, trainers and converse boots for all;)
a new photoframe in the shape of a castle
some vinylmations for scott
a few cuddly toys, but small ones
bits of jewellery, mickey earrings etc
bubble gum for scotts football team...dont ask:rotfl2:
