My family's planning on going to WDW in Sept. and I was wondering what kind of souvenirs I could get that would last a while. Is there any art stuff, (Other than a 'how to draw' book?) hobby supplies, or the such? Also, how would I bring home anything fragile? I really wanted to buy a glass rose from the shop in Germany, but I was worried about it breaking during the flight and drive home. Any ideas? Thnx in advance!

Taffy,
(Hehe, I'm using me mother's file.)

Also also, who ever invented this:  Was A GENIUS! :worship:

You can buy actual peices of art.

I mostly buy t-shirts, pens, posters (the art of animation has some amazing ones), and things like that. Practical things! :)

they..really dont have any special drawing utensils or such that would be useful in arts and crafts.
mostly your average pack of colored pencils, crayons or markers. pens, too. but nothing fancy.
but you can buy art, even watch a disney artst draw for you.

and usually when you buy a glass object (usually? who am i kidding, all the time) you get a box and its usually packed pretty tightly. but if youre worried, go ahead and mention to the CM that you will be flying home, and i guarantee theyll let you have a few extra sheets of paper padding to wrap your stuff in. a trick we use when traveling, go ahead and wrap your clothes around the boxes with the glass inside. it provides extra cushion. :]

took the words outta my mouth.

The framed art can get expensive, but the posters and the sketches of characters aren't too bad. There's an Art of Disney-ish shop at every park.
