Hi all! So far I've posted two topics asking for advice and received ZERO responses so hopefully third time is a charm lol.

I'm 26 years old and female, and my department consists of all men: 45, 49, and 28. I wanted to bring them back something cute/funny from Disney. 28 y/o is easy because he's a Star Wars fan so I have plenty to choose from, but the other two I'm not sure.

What kind of stuff do you guys suggest? I don't want to go too much more than $30. It doesn't necessarily have to be something super useful, just something funny and cute because we're all very close (but apparently not close enough for me to have any good ideas! LOL!)

I'd love to hear what you guys think, or maybe any fun things you've seen in the shops or picked up for friends and family of your own.

Thanks!!

Well...first I personally wouldn't buy anything..but to show them that you were thinking of them, send them each a personalized postcard

My go to gift is magnetic bottle openers. You can find them in practically every store and they are inexpensive, useful and come in many themes.

Hi! If they drink coffee, why don't you take them a coffee mug with all of the characters. My mom loves hers and requested one when I went to Disneyland. Or, if you can figure out their favorite characters, you could do the character. T-shirts, personalized ears, there's all kinds of merchandise at the parks. I love taking the Mickey head pen/pencil sets to co-workers, but I work with mostly women. You just have to pick something that reminds you of them.

I love postcards. I've been sending them from Disney since the 90s when emails or texts weren't an option. I'm glad someone else doesn't think I'm crazy for still sending them!

Do the resorts still have postcards? I remember having a huge selection to choose from in the 90s but I'm sure they've pared down on them because of their decreasing popularity.

I brought my coworkers post it's and a pen back from my trip in May 2012. I found a cute pack of disney pens. They came 6 to a pack and then I found a 4 pack of Disney themed post it's and gave those out. My coworker's loved them :)

The Chip & Dale snacks or the Goofy Candy co make good things to bring back.

My boss at the last place I worked was a Disneyholic and DVC owner. He went multiple times a year. He'd bring back pens or keychains for everyone or a big box of candy from Goofy's Candy Co for everyone to share.

Where I work now, I bought two packs of Disney post-its (I think there are 4 pads in each pack) and gave them to my co-workers. They love them and refuse to use them for anything but desk decoration. :) The other year a co-worker gave everyone a magnet - it's still MY desk decoration! :thumbsup2

There are so many small things you can chose from. Some people will be thrilled and some people will think it's meh. Just have fun! :goodvibes

My tradition for my dad was to buy either some WDW golf balls or a WDW baseball cap (which he wore while golfing - he loved those caps!).

I think it's hard to buy WDW souvenirs for men because much WDW merchandise is pretty "cute". I can't imagine one of my male co-workers using a Disney pen or sticky note.

Pick up some coffee mugs or to go cups..then grab a can or two of coffee for the office.

If you can find them, they have large tins with choc. chip cookies in it. I brought back a Halloween themed one and then Xmas. I put them in the coffee room for everyone to enjoy. Or a box of choc. covered pretzels. Pens, key chains, baseball hats are also good.

:) You can also find T-shirts on sale at times from Disney Store.com. I would do the tins of hot chocolate or coffee or maybe a pin. My last boss was a male and loved Ariel (clamshells and all) so he got an Ariel pin. Now I do nto buy the office anything...and they never get me anything, or anything for anyone else.

But when I was 26 I did purchase things for people at the office...at 44 I just don't any more.

Any of the packaged snack items in a tin would be good. Could always use the tin afterwards to hold their office/desk supplies.
My son's girlfriend always gets shot glasses as keepsakes from each place she goes.

I also buy for a few of my co-workers, but since they are not necessarily Disney fans, I opt for a non-Disney gift. Epcot has the best offerings for this IMO. I've given: murano glass Christmas ornaments (from Italy pavilion), jewelry (most pavilions have jewelry), I think Mexico might have tequila, Mexico also has these great blankets (not too big)...are they hockey fans? Canada has hockey stuff, soccer in the UK,
I believe In downtown Disney you can custom make a disney themed t-shirt too.
Good Luck!

Do lots of people really buy gifts for their co-workers when they go on vacation? It's not something we do where I work. I think it's great that you are thinking of them. I wouldn't spend much, if you know they like coffee a mug is nice or just some candy. Men always like food. :lmao:
