Just booked AKL ( pool view) for $1,500 less with Southwest vactions then the quote from Disney Travel. Same deal- air, park tickets, pool view at AKL ( sale not $750 gift card) Just thought others may be interested . Also we are flying non-stop both ways. Disney could not offer that with the airlines that they parter with .
Can't wait never been to AKL !

I did the same thing a few weeks ago for our March trip. They had SW had Coronado available when Disney showed no availability. We were going to book flights with them anyways so it saved us about $500 for the package and I was able to get the room I wanted then if I had booked it separtly.

Your post is a bit of a tease. How many people, where flying from, and (of course) how much was the pricetag??

I got March 17-24th, 2a 1c, Coronado Springs water view, 7 day hopper, regular dining plan and non-stop flights in/out of Hartford, CT for $3519.

I just checked for our trip and it was 300 More without even adding the dining plan???? Def not a deal....

Just remember that you are not actually dealing with Southwest...you are dealing with the Travel Agent licensed to use Southwest's name in their package promotion: The Mark Travel Corporation.

You cannot get any adjustments in price if flights go down...no ticketless travel funds available for reductions in price, and no chance to use DINGs.

I also don't believe you can go back and ask them to reprice based on better "codes" that Disney releases. Once you book, that's your price.
