Southwest Vacations!

I have been searching everywhere for cheap flights from SDF to MCO. The cheapest I've found were with Southwest and that was $1172.00 for 4 of us . I've never paid anywhere near that much in the past.

I was afraid to wait for a Ding fare, because the flights for our dates seem to be selling all of the cheap seats (close to the holiday season-- Dec 13-20).

Today, a friend told me to check Southwest acations (linked off of the Southwest air site). WOW!!!!

I got airfare for 4 and a rental car from Alamo for $804!!!!

You don't have to book a hotel to get the package rates.

Bad thing--paper tickets and you cannot check in online or at the airport kiosk. Guess we'll just have to get to the airport early, but, I can deal with that since I saved over $500 (I had a car reserved through Thrifty for 176.00).

I checked mine too, but the tickets are still around 200 dollars each considering the price of the rental car. I might just go this route...thanks for posting.

We used SWV for a vegas trip the only problem was the lack of early check-in online.Still got A's on the way and B's home so no big deal.

I do think if a Ding comes through you can't change it but that is still a good price . We are going from the 18th to the 22nd and for our times we want to leave we did get the $79 fares .

Well I did it. I booked airfare for four and a midsize car for 9 days, 12/14-12-23. Total was 872. So, I figure the flights cost around 600 for four given the rental I already have reserved, or around what I paid last year for around the same time. I am psyched!! Thanks OP for reminding us all about this avenue.

Now to make sure that I get the airport very early!!! Since I can't check in online!
