Southwest time?

Does anyone know what time of the day Southwest will post their new schedule? At this point, their travel tools say they will begin taking reservations on June 15 for travel through January 7. Is it 12:01am or 6am or don't they really say?

Also, does the first day of the new schedule usually have the best prices?

Usually, the schedule will be released about 10:00 AM CST on the day that they say on their website.

SWA does run sales and DINGS, so the prices listed on the first day of the schedule are not always the lowest, but prices will most likely go up from there.

Now having said that, you may want to check earlier. Also, if you have DING on your computer, you will get a DING notice when SWA opens up the schedule.

For last January, I made my reservations as soon as the dates were released. Those prices turned out to be the lowest offered, even counting subsequent Dings!
I intend to do the same this year, and hopefully, that'll be true again.
