We leave in 3 wks. Haven't made any changes to original reservations made in August (except lowered the price back in Oct).

Out of the blue this morning, I receive an email titled "Ticketless Confirmation". It all looked standard --- usual jibberish. It provides a link to check-in online & print boarding passes. Then it caught my eye........... WHAT??????? Ft Lauderdale to Los Angeles. :earseek:

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's all wrong!!!!!!!!!
It's supposed to be Providence to Orlando.

Panicked....grabbed by original prints outs. Compared everything. Confirmation #, 4 passenger names, dates......

Went to their website; looked up ressie; everything ok there.

Where the heck is their phone#? Got it. Called. Lady says they have "Providence to Orlando".

Ok --- calm down. She says " Have a nice day".
Yeah....as soon as I can get my heart beat going again.

I hope this isn't a sign of anything to come. This trip is DH & I and my 73 yr old parents for 10 days.......and I've been worrying if I'll make it thru 10 days with them. (If ya know what I mean. ;) LOL)

Anyone else get one of these BOGUS emails?

My guess is that someone else mistakenly entered your email address. I've gotten many emails from different companies where I think people have put the wrong email address. At first I tried to notify the company that the wrong email address was used, but now I just add them to my blocked senders list because I found it wasn't worth the hassle.

No -- couldn't have been the wrong email address.

It had the correct confirmation #.
The correct names for all 4 of us.
The correct travel dates.
The correct flight on the way home.....

BUT the completely WRONG flight & originating city & arriving city for the flight to vacation.

THAT'S THE SCARY PART !! DH & I are really hoping nothing is screwed up when we arrive at Providence for our flight to Orlando.....since it's kind of hard for us to arrive at Ft Lauderdale for a flight to LA if we live in MA.

I opened a confirmation E-mail this morning from Southwest too. We have five of us flying from Philly to Orlando and back in a week. The ticket for my son had the returning flight from Orlando to New Orleans. So, I panic and call SW. She said that the original confirmation # etc. was what they have. She put me on hold for about 5 minutes and checked. She said that there was a computer glitch and when they checked the e-mail the New Orleans flight kept coming up. Huh???? But in their computer was the Philly flight?????? I don't know. They fixed it and sent me another confirmation with the correct info. I can't have my 7 yr old flying to New Orleans. It was really weird because the confirmation # was the same on both confirmations and it had my name on it as the credit cardholder and it had his name on it as the passenger. OH well. That's computers for you.
