Southwest Summer SALE !!!

Southwest is having a doozy of a summer sale to FL- announced this morning--For example - flights from Providence to Orlando are $49 one way (Other cities are also on sale to FL)--- Good for Flights UNTIL Sept. 28 (This does me no good whatsoever, because I have trips planned for Oct., Nov, Dec. --- But maybe it will help somebody else).Remember, if you already have a trip booked with SW, and the fares are now cheaper, you can get a credit for the difference if you call them and rebook at the new rate. Just wanted to say thanks. Got 4 roundtrips from K.C. to Orlando for $520 with tax - had already booked for $624 - so got $104 credit for a weekend getaway with the wife sometime next year!

Just got 3 round trip tickets from Hartford to MCO for $334 including tax! And I thought that the $443 I had previously was good!

I got 4 tickets for $782 - wish it was as good as everyone else was finding - but that's $182/ticket. Which from Tulsa I have yet to go cheaper - except through priceline - well there was the time I had the $250 voucher for being bumped that I ended up only paying $72 for two tickets - that jsut doesn't happen that often. Dang it!! Congratulations to all who got a better rate - and thanks for the heads up - we're flying now instead of driving 44 + hours round trip.

Southwest's schedule is out until Jan. 16, 2004 - and they have a "systemwide sale" for all dates (Okay prices, not great). However, they are having a FL sale too with phenomenal rates - but that, unfortunately is only available until Sept. 28th (with a 14 day advance purchase).

I was able to reduce my ticket from $252 to $173 for September flying out of Houston Hobby. I have only paid less than that once in the last 5 years.

Thanks so much for the heads up!! I was able to save $200.00 for three from Ohio. I've signed up to get the internet specials from SW but have yet to receive any, so this was a VERY welcomed post!!
