Does anyone know if Southwest has a standby policy. If the do could you point me in the right direction to get the information. Thanks for the help.
 
I know it is on their webpage. I also know how it works. Southwest only allows standby on full fare tickets. If you have a discounted ticket you cannot fly standby or be changed to an earlier flight without paying the upgrade fee. (Now, I have heard that sometimes a gate agent will allow you to change, but I have tried several times and always been told the official company policy!)
