Never flown SW, not too familiar with their policies. I am patiently waiting for the new dates to be released and doing my planning in the meantime. Can any of you Southwest veterans tell me if the schedule is likely to change when the new dates are released? We are flying Denver to Orlando and currently they show 2 non-stops a day on this route, I have chosen our best flight times based on the current schedule, just wondering how likely it is to stay as it is currently once dates are FINALLY extended!:confused3

No way to know for sure. There were a number of changes when the last schedule was released. If I had to guess, I'd say most things will be left alone... but you never know.

I booked a flight from Manchester, NH to Ft. Myers, FL on the same day that SW released the schedule, (November 16th). At first they only had a couple of flights listed but later they added more, not sure if they added them the same day or the next day. I have seen SW change flight times when the schedule extends, so the flight times that are now non-stop may be different for the summer. I imagine they base it on demand.

Edited to add: After I read the last post I wanted to make sure that what I said wasn't too confusing. I meant that when SW adds on flights for the summer, hopefully tomorrow, that the current non-stop times for DEN to MCO of 7:15am and 12:30pm may change for the summer schedule.

I've seen SW add flights, but not change the ones already booked. I thought that was part of the reason why they released the dates so much later than everyone else.
