Southwest Schedule Extended to August 24th...

Just received the "Ding" message.

Wow! I tried to book our flight to Orlando from New Orleans about 2 minutes after the schedule was extended. Seems that all of the cheaper fares are booked except for the most expensive "Refundable Anytime" fare that is $134 each way.

Looks like they blocked up all the cheap fares and will may release them later or someone had access to the cheap fares before the window was extended for us regular people. I guess it could also be a computer glitch.

Was looking for May 26th thru June 2nd. We will drive if I can't get $150 per person round trip from New Orleans. Delta is my only other option....so, I'll just keep checking.

But the Delta times are pretty crappy for the nonstop flights between New Orleans and Orlando! I checked other airlines and ended up buying our RT tickets on SW out of New Orleans for $254 per person ! The good news is I got the dates and times I wanted . But I am still !
