Southwest release date through Oct 30 now Feb 19th.

Woohoo, thanks for the heads up. I'll be booking flights for our October trip the day they open the schedule. Seems SW ticket prices are the lowest on the first few days, plus I don't want to run the risk of not getting that first flight to MCO at 6am :thumbsup2

Yes, thanks. And thanks for putting the info in your thread title too!

This is good. Feb 26 also happens to be our 180-day mark, so it was going to be a very busy morning at the computer. :surfweb:

More than happy to spread out that work out over two separate mornings - especially in case SW released the fares right at 6am.

BTW...wouldn't it be great if they released the schedule - for viewing only - a day earlier?

I would love it if they released the schedule for view a few days early. Sure would assist in planning. :rolleyes1

Thanks so much for letting us know. I'm going to change the date on my calendar right now!

Does anyone know what time on February 19th? For instance, should I be staying up late or getting up super early to book our flights?

It's usually shortly after 6am Eastern time. Based on recent posts from prior schedule releases, you might be able to book as early as 6:10am or it might take until 6:20am or later before the flight data is loaded and you can start booking. I make sure I'm logged in to my rapid rewards account by 6am Eastern time and I keep trying to book my dates until the schedule goes live.

Update: Based on posts from those booking this morning (Thu Feb 19, 2015), Southwest released the schedule extension at 6:15am Eastern time.
