Can anyone give me a reasonable estimate of when SWA will release seats through mid-March?

maybe try and call sw and see if they will give you an approximate date for spring flights. Its usually about 3-4 months out. So that would be nov/dec.

Last year it was mid to late October, I think.

I booked my tickets on Sept 23, 2004 for mid-March 2005. I'm pretty sure this was the first they they released the dates. That's not a guarantee that they'll extend at the same time this year, though. They seem to be extending dates a little later...

According to a little chart I keep, 9/18/03 and 9/21/04 respectively opened dates through 3/6/04 and 3/3/05 Next round to open was 10/20/03 and 10/22/04
