Southwest Question: 2 Reservation numbers??

I just booked a trip for August on Southwest. I have my daughter and I travelling together, but even though I booked it with both of us together, we each have our own reservation number. Is this a new thing? I also have to say that this is the first trip I have ever booked totally on RR points.

Anytime you book on points everyone gets a seperate reservation number.
