Southwest prices are crazy!

My husband is super tall too (6'5") and always wants to fly Spirit for the big seats up front. I like them because then we dont have to sit next to a stranger!

We flew Spirit once and the whole thing turned into a huge nightmare (not the seats though). It ended up costing us a lot more in the long run and we won't fly them again.

We had a terrible experience with Spirit back around 2014. They've gotten a new CEO since and we flown Spirit at least 5 times in the last 2-3 years and all flights have been on time and comfortable. They offer lots of convenient flight times too.

I find the best time to book Southwest airfare has been around 6-7 months prior to flying. I fly out of Las Vegas on Southwest because it's the only airline that has a non-stop from Vegas to Orlando. Kinda strange that they are the only airline to offer this route non-stop but it is what it is I guess. When I purchased airfare for our May trip back in October we paid $346 each roundtrip and with the early bird both ways it came to $396 which is fairly good considering now it's over $100 each per ticket. Also being apart of the rewards for opinions website I earn points through doing surveys and have earned enough over the past year to get 2 round trips from Vegas to Orlando for free.
