Southwest should open their schedule tomorrow, does anyone know what time? Is this like scoring reservations at Cinderella's Castle, do I need to be online at 6 am to get the best fares or can I wait till say 9 or 10? We are traveling BWI to MCO/TPA 4th of July week Saturday - Sunday.

I was online at 6 for the last release and the fares were uploaded at 6:10. Within minutes the best fare were gone. I would not wait until 9 or 10. I hope this helps you.

Woo hoo! We're booked!:cool1: Great prices out of Pittsburgh $230/RT.

Where do I look on the website to see when the new dates open? I am watching for next fall. I use to click on travel tools on the bottom but no longer see that option.

I clicked "Flight" from the top upper right hand side of the main page. Then "Schedules" from the page that brought up, and it said this..

On February 26, 2015, we will open our schedule for sale through October 30, 2015. (Date is subject to change; please check back frequently.)

We're just trying to determine our October dates now, but it looks like we'll be booking in late February!:)

I had the same problem, so I clicked on the magnifying glass and types "travel tools" and it was right there. It reads:
We are currently accepting air reservations through August 7, 2015. On February 26, 2015, we will open our schedule for sale through October 30, 2015. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently.

Youre lucky! Not many $115 rates out of pittsburgh left for me- I probably should have checked earlier. I dont see PIT-MCO going lower than that.

I ended up waiting, I was up till 1 am working on a Christmas gift. Got $115 each way which is pretty good but we had to change our return date to flying home on the 4th. A little bummed about that but oh well! We'll see the fireworks at home I guess instead of in Tampa!

208/rt, nonstop, out of MSP for our dates! Our "there" leg is booked on another carrier, but switched our return trip to the nonstop today. Saved $32 and get in 10 hours earlier...without a layover. Pretty sweet!!

what times do they usually open for booking? eastern, central, etc?
