I have to book the Southwest Non-stop that leaves
7:00am Sat. Sept. 25th from Denver.
As far as I know that's may be the only
non-stop SW offers that early on Saturday.
I like to leave as early as I can because 3.5 hour flight--
let's get this vacation started:banana:

When can I book to make sure I get on that NS flight? Does this became available 12:00am Eastern time
March 23rd or do I have to wait 'til morning--
6:00am/7:00am? thanks

March 23rd as far as the website says.

I usually find they release between 10-10:30am EST.

(Since they are in Dallas and work at 9am Dallas time ;) )

Good to know so there is no reason for me to get up really early and try to book. I have the SW ding discount thing set up on my iPhone so I'm sure that will notify me when they open up the September dates. I have been waiting for them to open up September so I can book our flights new or Labor Day week trip to WDW. I added a couple extra days into my time off that I will adjust later so I can play around with the dates. We have an $86 credit with them that has to be used by October. Lets cross our fingers and hope that they will release some of the $79-$82 each way fares from Chicago to Orlando.

Thanks so much.
I will get right to booking as soon as I get back from
bringing DS to school. I'm Mountain time so fares open up
8:00am here. I have been so ready. :woohoo:

Woo Hoo I cannot wait until Tuesday morning!!!!! DD11 and I are heading to WDW on Oct 29, so at least we can get the tickets on Tuesday for the way down and i guess wait unti June? for the release of Oct 31 and beyond?

I'm mountain time too, and in the past the fares have not opened at 8am. It's been more like 9am, and not on the dot either.

Here's hoping for some low fares! (But doubtful).

I'm with you on the low fares. If I can get $79-$99 each way, I will be happy.

If it's after 8:00am that will give me more time to get back from bringing
DS to school but I will be checking as soon as I get back.

I am expecting to pay around $250.00 pp RT. but hope it won't be any more.

Ditto! I've been checking off peak flying times for southwest out of PHL (I'm going in Sept) along w/ Airtran who they always usually have competitive rates and it seems like it should be around $89 pp pw. That's what I'm hoping for!

i'll be checking, but probably not buying out of the gate;)

last few times, it appears as though SWA was 'challenging the market' for my dates out of PIT:rolleyes1& things settled down a day or so after:confused3

anybody else run into this?popcorn::

We are going (again) Fri-Mon Columbus weekend. I'm not expecting anything under $105 pp/ow :( ...esp w/ a holiday weekend.

For last summer's trip, we were lucky to get the $59/pp/ow.

THIS summer's trip, I couldn't get anything on SW under $105/pp/ow. AND, it's done nothing but go UP since it opened (which is when I bought it). :sad2:

I would love to get a nice airfare, but if not, oh well. The money is already waiting to be spent for it. Still, will keep fingers crossed anyway.

I see you are from Reading (I'm outside of Philadelphia) where did you fly out of to get $59 last year Just curious!

I have. The last few times that I purchased day of release fares out of PHL, they dropped within a week. Like a $129 one way fare dropped to $99. I may wait a week to purchase....will have to see.

We always fly out of PHL. (Usually do a park n fly package)

I couldn't believe when the rates RELEASED at $59pp/ow. My husband was on AIM telling me to "buy NOW".

I told him I was trying to do that, but he was bugging me by IMing me!

Wow that's a great fare!!! We went out of PHL last Sept and the lowest we saw (bought release day) was 79. I was still happy w/ that but who could argue w/ $20 less :lmao:

That only happened to me ONCE since SW came to PHL. A few years ago, I bought at release at $99. Two & a half weeks later, it dropped to $49. Needless to say, I called to get that credit ;)

I'm guessing w/ fuel going up this summer, and some people doing better with their financial situations/economy, more are going to fly and our cheap days are behind us :(

$20 for a couple/few people adds up to more frosty, adult beverages in my book :thumbsup2

I wish SW would give Denver Flyers a break.
I haven't seen any good prices to Orlando in years.
The last time we paid $99.00 one way was in 2007.
Plus I'm always trying to get the early Sat. Non-stop
which is in demand. Supply and demand.
I can't wait on purchasing, because I won't get anything if
I do.
