Southwest opening dates past March 11, 2011 tomorrow

I had posted this in a thread about SW codes, but in case anyone was waiting until October 5 to book SW travel dates past March 11, 2011, I thought I should post in a separate thread:

I noticed the following on the Southwest site today:
Now accepting reservations through March 11, 2011. On September 28, we will open our schedule for sale through April 25, 2011. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently.

Previously they had been saying they would open the schedule past March 11, 2011 on October 5, and then for dates into June. So this is a change, and I thought I would give everyone the heads up.

Thanks for the info -- do you have any idea what time on 9/28 that the schedule will be extended? We are looking to book for a Spring Break week, and I would like to get in on the cheapest fares! I hope that I don't have to stay up to midnight tonight!!!

Sorry, I really don't have any experience with Southwest, so I don't know when they typically make the flights available.
I was thinking of trying them for our Spring Break trip as well, so I'd been watching their site.

10 am central time is when they have opened the schedules in the past. A few times I was not able to see the new schedule until closer to 10:30 am.

The last time Southwest opened their dates; I was on the computer @ 6:30am and they had already posted them. I had been on earlier at 5:30am same day and they weren't open yet. So check early! I was expecting them to open later based on previous schedules, so be aware they might be posted very early.
