Southwest Mobile Check In

This is our first time flying southwest. We did not buy EBCI, so I plan to check in at 24 hours. I have my account set up on my iPhone. When it is time to check in, do I just click check in on the app? Will I need any other info? My flight is already stored in my account. I just want to be prepared. Also, my family is on one confirmation, so will everyone be checked in at the same time? Thanks in advance.

Everytime I've used the app, even with my stored flight info, I have had to enter my confirmation number. Also, I had issues the last couple times I used the app being able to connect because of spotty service. So we buy EBCI for the way home so that I don't even need to worry about it.

I had good luck recently checking in with the app. I had the app remember my log in information and the whole process took only a few seconds - just hit the check in button. Printed the boarding passes a few hours later. It sort of acted like I wasn't checked in on the computer side at first but I was and it gave me a good spot.

Didn't have to bother with it on the way home. MDE handled check in for us and we got great boarding spots. They also printed the boarding passes and delivered them to our room.

Before your trip practice with the app. You can use the app along with you confirmation number and check in on your mobile. Don't worry it wont do anything to your reservation. You will get a error that says its not time to check in yet. But its good to practice so you know how to use it and don't loose precious minutes on the 24 hour mark.

I usually log into the app and try to checking about 10 minutes before the actual time that way all my info is already stored and all I have to do it click the checkin button on the 24 hour mark.
