Southwest frustrating

ARGH! I checked first thing this morning - no fares for Dec yet. Checked around 9am. Nothing yet. Came online now - and the dates I need (Dec 5-13) the lowest fare is already sold out????? How can that be? I'm not a happy camper. Any chance they'll open up more seats once the rush is over??

something I noticed is when you clicked to "book a flight" it was still coming up available only until Oct.
But if you clicked to "plan a vacation" the dates came up for Nov. I got my tickets for thanksgiving week. I went back to look and it was still showing only through Oct on the book a flight.
Not sure why....

At 9:13 a.m., I got a screen showing bookings through January 8. When I went to book, however, it said my dates were out of range and when I went back it said October 30. I hit refresh a couple of times and it stayed October 30, then went back to January 8 and I could book after that.

The prices do go up quick. I booked asap after they were released this morning (10:15ish) and got $149/each. An hour later they were $188. Now they are $224!!!!

We just booked December Buf to Mco $59 each way - my sis and I are taking my Dad for his 65th as a surprise - so happy to get cheap air fare
