Just a heads up...Southwest has been dropping prices on some of their flights. I booked initially with SW Visa points, and in the past 2 days have re-booked the exact same flights (2x) and saved 16,000 points from when I first booked them!! So if you have tickets, it's worth checking out.

You guys are very lucky! I keep checking to see if the price has gone down for us and nope! Although we're not trying to fly in and out of MCO.

Thanks for the heads-up. Our flight prices have dropped. How do I go about getting a credit?

Our June Flights have dropped 3 times in the last 15 days. One way from Phl to Mco has dropped in half!

Same here!
I've got an April SW flight (also not to MCO) which wouldn't budge for weeks, so I finally gave in and purchased late Feb. Then it skyrocketed, so was happy I pulled the trigger when I did. Still hoping it drops though as it gets closer.

Checked yesterday, it had dropped $24, this morning another $25. Still $60 higher than I paid, but keeping fingers crossed it continues to drop.

find your flight in "your trips". Click on "change flight". Enter your dates and party info. See if your flights have dropped in price (the box next to the flight will tell you). Select your flights, and go through the checkout. The page before final confirmation will tell you the total refund (if applicable) for the decreased flights, if there are any.

Thank you so much! Because of your post I checked my SW flights coming up and saved $140 and 8,000 points! (I often book one way with points and the other way pay cash.)

Me too. Did this for our April trip
But with all these drops lately, I opted to cancel my leg with points and use a credit to pay for it instead. The fares are just too low and since I don't know for sure that I'll use Southwest again before Nov (when the credit expired) then I also know I used the credit up. The rest of the credits I have are good until January. I'm sure I'll find something to use them on by then. So I got my points back and didn't cost me anything to rebook.

I'll be booking our PHL/MCO and back flights tomorrow, 3/12 so this is very encouraging news.

Bill From PA

Bill,

I’m from PA, too, and about an equal distance between Philly and Baltimore. You might want to check flights out of BWI, too. They are much cheaper than PHL for our dates.

Thanks a bunch!

Check those current flights again today!

I just checked my one-way April SW flight that had skyrocketed after I purchased it. Today it's back to the same price I bought it at in late February (which is still slightly higher than I'd like). It dropped at total $110 over the last two days, including a $60 drop since last night.

Might just get those good prices yet!

If anyone is looking for September/October flights, check them out! I had to book 3 one-way flights due to flying first to a wedding in Atlanta, then to Orlando, then back home to Rochester. Very pleased with the last 2 legs. Booked ATL-MCO for $89, although they had an early morning for $54! Then MCO-ROC for $113. All nonstop and Rochester is usually much more expensive to fly in and out of. Will hold off a touch for the ROC-ATL, still a little more than I wanted to pay, but overall I'l really happy about pricing.

I’ve been checking mine all week for the 2nd week in June and haven’t seen any changes. (Both flights were still higher than the price I booked at.) I just checked again and both flights were down to $99. Keep checking!

I check every day and the price just refuses to go down.
Glad others were able to rebook at a lower price, though!
