Southwest Flights

I was on at 6am and I got bumped out of the cheap seats. Pvd-Mco 4/12 5:50pm 300- 4/20 2:20 pm 350- both are nonstop. The flight home is already sold out so I'm hoping to get bumped for some free $ and credit :)

The prices are CRAZY for that week. We have flown from PVD-MCO many times in April and have never seen prices that high. I was on early too and never saw any WannaGetAwayFlights

So we will be driving to Long Island and flying out from there. I know it will be a 4hr drive, but so worth it to save $3000:mad:

So excited!!! Managed to cash in some credit card rewards, and change our flights from PVD to BDL and in the end only spent $200 per person out of pocket!! So the five of us are flying for $1035 round trip!

The catch is we had to stay another night.....taking an early flight the next day. Trying to decide if we extend the Disney trip ($$) or just leave later from the hotel, drop the car off and stay in the hotel airport!

Hmmmmm......

2 weeks before our cruise I got the Hyatt hotel for $45 from Hotwire. That is when they pin pointed the hotel on the map and you knew the only hotel in the airport was the Hyatt. But if you can get a good deal with hotels around the airport, they shuttle you back and forth too.

I posted this on the SWA frequently asked questions,
but I will try here.
My dd purchased a non-refundable ticket to Deniver/Milwaukee on Thanksgiving weekend. The price dropped $50. Can she get a credit? Or will she have to cancel and rebook, or to bad.

So it showed it as being IN the airport? That's awesome!! I just think the kids would get a kick out of staying there, they love airports and it helps with getting us the the earlier flight!

With Southwest you are able to get a credit if the price drops. You just have to rebook the flight at the lower rate. If the website gives you problems, just call Southwest and they can change it for you.

Great thank you.

You actually don't have to cancel and rebook, you can go to "change reservation" and they will let you chose the same flight and will give you credit on SW to use within a year (I believe a year from when she FIRST booked though)

Apologies... My answer was not very clear. :) Yes, the credit is good for one year from the date of original booking.

FYI- flights from mco to pvd on 4/20 for some flights have dropped to 216-
