From Baltimore to Orlando. Due to rain our 450pm flight left at about 745pm. Landed in Orlando and got on Magical Express at 10:11pm. 10:37pm still waiting for bus to move. Total travel time today for a 2 1/2 hour flight and 3 hour car ride is at 15 hours and counting. LOL

Wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped with my previous seating questions. We paid for the early check in and had A46 to A49.

Happened to us with winter weather at BWI. 4 hours late to MCO. I actually watched (on a flight tracker) the originating flight from Pittsburgh get almost halfway to BWI and turn around. Snow/sleet at BWI but we did get there.

Paid for early check in and get that high of number in the A's..........you wasted your money. I don't think you gained much at all.

How do you figure that? Or do you think the non-EBCI person (who checked in right at T-24) got an A number? It's a gamble.

did you remember to pull your checked bags since you arrived after 10pm?
That's not exactly possible. If they applied the yellow tags at her destination they never make it to baggage claim so OP couldn't pull them.
While far from ideal (to me) for bags to sit at an airport overnight they will be there waiting then the Bags Inc folks come back to work.

As far as EBCI it completely depends on your flight time, including your airport you are flying from and flying to, when you bought your ticket and what type of ticket you bought and number of pre-boarders/family boarders as well as A-listers.

Went from KCI to BWI on 8/7/16 for a 5:10pm departure time-got an A 56..no EBCI and ticket used as a companion pass added onto an A-list member's RR's account. I wasn't added to his flight until 6 days before the flight. My husband, the A-lister, had bought his WGA ticket 16 days in advance no EBCI and he got an A26. Oh and the flight was completely full with 1 pre-board and 1 family pre-board.

Went from BWI to KCI on 8/14/16 for a 7:35pm departure time-got a B26..no EBCI same companion pass/A-list as above. My husband's WGA ticket was bought 24 days in advance no EBCI and he got an A23. I was added 13 days prior to flight to his flight. Flight was again completely full with 1 pre-boards and 2 family pre-board. They did make a firm announcement about family pre-boards saying "only 1 additional member is allowed with family pre-board"-not sure if they would do that with a destination such as Orlando (haven't flown to Orlando in nearly 5 years).

BTW I ALWAYS check in at exactly 24 hours in advance.

I will say that it does seem like are more people buying EBCI than before, even with the price being $15 instead of the $12.50 each way. The thing is there are a lot that goes into what boarding position you get and further what choices of seats you have once you are on the plane.

Not exactly. Even with yellow tags on them, all flight landing at 10p or later should have ALL bags sent to baggage claim. After 10pm, there's no one to separate the bags, so they'd end up going around the carousel until pulled by someone. At least that's been the impression given here over the past couple years.

Whether they'd show up thanks to Bags the next day I don't know.

Or if they would just wander home with someone else.

If you are arriving after 10 PM the little yellow tags are useless, pick up your luggage!
