Hi, Southwest is the only airline that flies direct to Orlando out of Providence(RI)so tickets go very fast for school vacations. Does anyone know when they will start booking for Feb??Last year I booked in Sep. and it was about 350.per ticket. I consider this VERY HIGH usually around $200.per person is good. I check the website every morning but am still afraid I will miss the BEST prices!! Thanks, Joan

SW is likely to have very few deeply discounted seats available during Presidents week. If you want the best fares you might also have to look into connecting flights and flights into Tampa.

How far out of your way is Hartford CT?
I fly out of there all the time. They have Southwest but also Delta and the new Song airline, and quite a few others that go to Orlando. They have great parking facilities, either long term or short term which run approx $15 per day. Not bad for a secured parking lot.
Southwest usually shows its availability about 4 months before you need so you might want to watch for flights in NOvember and check every week.
But if some other airline has a sale grab with them Peggie

My best guess would be mid sept.

I always buy the "cheap" seats @ president week/ mardi gras time. sometimes I have to play with my dates / times to get the best prices though. another thing is that after you puchase the tickets keep an eye on the prices and rebook to save $$ then use the credit on the next trip. also, sometimes it is best to purchase one way tickets incase you have to cancel one part of the trip for a lower price.
