DH and I both received one last week ... mine was a pin code via e-mail for 20% and has to be booked by Feb. 28th. His was a large-sized post card that had a pin code in the upper right hand corner on the front.

Anybody seen these before? I'm a frequent flyer on Southwest (travel monthly for work) but haven't had one before. I actually LOST the e-mail (most likely trashed in by accident), but I called customer service and they were able to give it to me again. One time use, don't hit the back arrow on your computer because you can't re-enter it again...

Of course, they haven't released the schedule for Sept. yet

Are these specific codes per individual passenger (as in tied to your rewards account) or can anyone use them;) ?

What was the title of the email? I always delete my Southwest emails!!

Oh no! Don't delete your SWA e-mails, especially if you've had Ding installed by Feb. 2! There's a major give-away promo by SW to celebrate their 20th ann'y, and it'll be full of "goodies", like extra credits, companion passes, etc.:thumbsup2 This was sent in an E-MAIL in Jan.; I'm not sure if the notification of a prize will be via Ding or e-mail, so don't, don't delete those SW messages!:sad2:
There's more discussion about this on www.flyertalk.com, including the rumor that the next booking window will open next Tuesday (the 8th).

Tied to the rewards account ... says I have to log into my RR acct. first. I last traveled on SWA in October, and so did DH.

I erased it by accident...went to book a trip to Chicago this morning, and it was gone in my inbox. I had to call SWA to get it and they didn't seem too thrilled to give it to me again...

Congrats! It has been so long since anyone has mentioned codes with SWA that I thought they stopped giving them out. I haven't received anything but I'll keep my eyes open!

Does the message come direct from Southwest. Do you know how the e-mail is titled?

I erased it, as I said, but I'm pretty sure it either came from Southwest or Rapid Rewards in the From line. And DH's was a large postcard.

Thanks for reminding me. I have been deleting SW e-mails as things have been swamped at my work e-mail - but I will definately check them out now!

Both my wife's and mine came in the mail last week. Unfolded it is about the size of a standard (8.5 x 11) size card stock. It says to use your Southwest Rapid Rewards Visa card and RR number required at time of purchase. Used mine to book ABQ to PHX...20% is 20% less than regular internet/fun fare.
