Southwest code

Its a one time code....:( As is the case with most of SWA codes

I'm not sure what you mean by one time code but I C&P'd this from the email;

"Please pass these great specials on to your friends and subscribe to Southwest Airlines Click 'n Save E-mail Updates."

Maybe the code can only be used once but why would they send the code to me and ask that I pass it on to others.

I'm not saying that multiple people can use the code, I'm just passing the information on.

Just curious, was this for a discount on each ticket or for the total of all tickets on one reservation?

I tried to use it and see what kind of discount it would be and a was told

ERROR
"What happened?
Our system shows that the one-time use promotion code entered is invalid because it has already been used."

........Thanks anyway as I did try!!!!:)

As far as sharing the code with friends, I wonder if you forward the email to someone, if there's a new code attached, like the airtran codes. Certainly would be worth a try.
Also, when is the code good through?

Hummm, I never thought of that, interesting…………

EpcotBill care to forward the email…………………. :confused3

Did the same thing..I take it you're flying outta Philly too.:cool1:

Already offered my $140 voucher to family...sweet deal..I owed him money anyway.

:confused3

Yep, we're flying out of Philly - first flight Sunday morning (so I guess I can expect that PHL-->MCO flight to be stuck at $99? oh well).

I did not receive one of these email codes, although it would have been nice!

I forwarded it to 3 of my other email addresses and my wife's email. Nothing changed. It's still the same code.

Well darn it!!

Thanks for trying!!!!!

Looks like I will just have to sit and wait for the $129 PP to drop, hopefully I can grab a $86 PP like I did in June!!!!

I am in the same boat. We are at $129 PP and that is just too much money for us. I hope they drop soon.

I checked my emails and have email from SW but nothing for $30 off. Is it a credit card offer?

Mine was not a credit card offer. I think I got it because they miss me. ;)
I have flown PHL to MCO with Southwest a bunch of times but it's been over a year since the last one.

Are people really complaining about $129 ROUND-TRIP per person? That can't be right. Please tell me that's a one-way price you're complaining about :lmao:

LOL, yes that’s a 1-way price, this considering I did have $86 PP each way booked for June but have changed our plans to go to WDW in Sept. Now just trying to get under $100!

Thanks, I feel better now :rotfl:

Just found a total price of 398.20 for 2 of us RT non-stop from Cleveland it was on expedia, and the airline is Continental thats not too bad.

Yes, it is just 1 way not RT. So we are looking at $258 pp or $774 for 3 of us RT plus any taxes and fees. It is not bad I know right now we can get $188 RT.

For the dates I want, it's $254 roundtrip MHT-MCO-MHT. I still have some time, so I'm going to wait it out a little and see if it comes down.

The thing I have been factoring in is that Southwest does not charge any fees for the first two baggages that are checked.

If there are enough people, then the savings from that alone can be significant.

here's a nice web site I found comparing each airline's fees:

http://rickseaney.com/domestic-airline-fee-chart-2/

Right now, from OKC to MCO, it's $278 RT / person TO and $250 RT / person FROM. I have found sightly cheaper airfare on the discount sites, but after luggage fees (assuming we have two pieces) it becomes a wash.

WOW I didnt realize they charge you to make your reservation on the phone.....:confused3......that's nuts!!!! Glad I got my great prices both ways with SW......:cool1:
