the cost of my flight has lowered TWO TIMES so far today. I have changed both times and received a credit for later.



if you have a flight booked on SW, check the price and maybe you can get a lower airfare.

thanks a lot! I've been watching flights for our August trip and was going to book yesterday at $79 out of Columbus - but it went to $69! Lowest I've seen out of CMH. Booking now!

Unfortunately we bought round trip tix & while the return leg went down the arrival leg has gone up! Still looking for another tix for daughter who decided to come after we bought our tix, so am constantly watching, as I don't want to have to go through the TA again( $30 surchage ).

Also the new rule when applying credits is a mess now as well. So be careful on those smaller amounts as you might have to split Tickets up when booking to use them

You can change each flight. I did this a month ago. You can change the way there and leave the way back or whatever!

the only problem with the credit is its valid for a year, but from the orginal purchase date. Not the changed date.

So make sure you can use it or give it to someone.

Thanks OP! I went back on and found the departure lowered by another $20 per ticket--now that is $80 more in savings. Woo hooo!
I also put in my return trip and found that although the fare is the same price more flights are open to the lower price--I was able to change my flight to a better time--noon rather than 9am and no change in price.

61292cna Even with round trip they are by segment so you can make changes to the flight that has a lower price with very little trouble. PM me if you need help.

You can do it right on their webpage under the view/change flights on the homepage. Thanks OP just saved $89 on a flight I booked for my parents!!!

This is one reason I ALWAYS fly Southwest. Almost every trip, we end up getting some credits.
