Southwest check-in/computer question

Ok, I just checked in for SW flight tomorrow. I had 3 reservations (2 rewards, so individuals, 1 booking with 3 people). I opened 3 seperate browser windows. I entered the 3 different confirmation #s and names in the windows. When I started clicking, it changed in all windows to the same name as the 1st one! So, somehow the reservation with 3 ended up with only the first person checked in (and I'm not even sure how that one got checked in because it looked like the info changed to one of the other reservations on the screen), the other 2 I noticed and was able to click back and get the names/confirmation #s I originally entered back so checked those in. But the reservation with 3 I didn't notice the issue as quickly and ended up being separated A34, then A60, B1 (the other 2 individuals ones came in between at A51 adn A53)

I know I see all the time people recommending if you have more than 1 reservation to open additional windows and be ready to click . . .
So, I guess my question is - how do you get your computer not to link 3 open browser windows (and stop if from changing the info you entered)?

I have always been afraid of this so I have my notebook next to my desktop with blackberry nearby and check in on 3 devices. Interested to see what others have experienced.

Southwest changed something in the functionality of their website when it was redesigned. All three windows showing the same information is probably caused by a cookie placed on your computer by the Southwest website.

To avoid this issue, you can either use multiple computers/cell phones to check in, or use multiple browsers (IE, Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) on the same computer to avoid the cookie problem.
