Last month there was an offer for a Southwest card where you would earn 16 credits for signing up and the first use. Now the current offer shows 8 credits and then another 8 credits if you transfer a balance. Do these offers change frequently? I really want to sign up when its the 16 credits as I don't have a balance to transfer.

I just got an offer in the mail the other day about free flight after first use. Let me see if I can find it.......

I someone refers you, you get enough credits for 1 flight after initial purchse.

Send me a PM and I'll give you the referal info.

I also have information for referral.

If you would like to get a free flight with your first purchase, you can send me a PM for the information.

Also just yesterday got a card that if I gave referal info for a SWcard that would give the person who signed up for card 16 credits(1 free flight) after first purchase or balance transfer. The person referring that person would get 4 credits too. SO if anyone wants that referal PM me... Oh remember that there is a yearly annual fee on this card but you do get 2 credits on anniversary date.:goodvibes

I finally found the info....But it looks like everybody else beat me to it. :headache:

If anyone else wants the info, PM me.

I ordered my card about a week ago and received the card today. I get 2 round trip tickets :cool1:after my 1st purchase. I even called today today to verify. When I called they said that the promotions changed all of the time.

I've been a SWA Rapids Rewards member for over five years and have been receiving promo offers from them since I joined RR program. However, the past six months or so, they've really been promoting their Visa card with the round trip promos. A few months back I finally caved in and got their card when they offered me, via email, TWO rd trp tickets (equal to 32 credits) after my first purchase.......yeah, it did cost me $59 annual fee, but, I now have two rd trps for $59 which are good until mid May, 2011........I received the email with voucher #'s about a month ago.......can't wait to use them!!!!!! I love SWA!!!!

Is this offer still going on? I don't remember seeing it when I was on their website, but if there's a way I can still sign up for this offer, I would love to.

I don't think the offer I received was something you could sign up for....I've been a RR member for a long time and did sign up for RR updates and info when I initially got the SWA Rapid Rewards card (not their credit card). I've always received email and updates from them, but, this is the first time I've ever received such a lucrative offer. A few times a year in the past I've received offers to open a SWA credit card and receive some extra RR credits, but, never two free rd trips after first purchase......that's why I jumped on it when I received it......in the future, I probably will only use that card to pay for SWA tickets and maybe car rentals for vacations since I believe those purchases earn extra credits all the time. I have another card which I use for groceries, gas, and some monthly bills and get very good rewards on that card for those purchases.

Thank you for the information. I just joined RR about a month ago, so that's probably why I didn't receive the offer. I don't have the credit card yet, but I'm considering it with a good offer.

I would have jumped on it with that offer too. Congrats! :thumbsup2

I don't know if this is still going on or not. I received the info in the regular mail (not email) and threw it out when I recieved the cards. Someone on here said that they had to pay a $59 annual fee. My offer waived the fee for the first year.:lmao:
