My Thanksgiving weekend flight is cheaper than the return flight a week later.

It opened while I was in the shower - of course! I was able to get Xmas fares for 325.00. I was happy with that. 12/22-1/1.

I got on about 720 AM my time and was able to book. Prices were up there a bit but was able to get wanna get away fares.

BTW is it just me or does everything re planning a DW trip feel anxiety ridden? Up at 6 to book ADRs, up at 6or 7 to book rooms. get the park reservations,,, now,,, rent a car, or figure out transportation. Etc.

I think I’m getting old. I know I am, but the end results still seem so worth it.

Very happy I got the times I was hoping would be available for Thanksgiving week. The fare was a little higher than I expected (and I thought it would be high), but I was pretty particular on times and days. I could have saved money if I was willing to leave WDW at 6am or fly down leaving at 5:30am.

I got a couple things booked but now its only showing flights through Nov 5th like they haven't been released yet! UGH i've refreshed over and over and it's not showing up.

Yep. Our first weekend of Dec trip is $380 RT! (I used pts). I booked it but will keep looking at other airlines. Could have gotten cheaper if we flew very early or very late, but not willing to do that.

We are in the same dilemma. Everything is just so high right now. I know typically they can go as low as $119 one way for me coming from PHX, but I do not want to risk the flights being booked up waiting in the mean time

I already had flights booked in mid-November through Delta. I booked about two months ago. But I was always curious how Southwest would be because I thought the Delta fare (@ $260) was a little high for the route. Southwest ended up being the same price for similar times.

No, it did not. That's a good point. I have the Delta Amex so I don't ever think about baggage fees with Delta.

It really is shameful what they are charging that week. I get it, they lost revenue last year, but they also got a ton of tax payer money.
