We are flying SW and are wondering about the booking ahead. Do we go online exactly 24 hours ahead from the departure time on our tickets? thanks

Anything in the A group will give you a choice of at least 2/3 of the plane.

Yes, at EXACTLY 24 hours before the time on your tickets you check yourself in. Have the SWA checkin screen up on your browser and your confirmation number entered in it's spot a few minutes ahead of time and be ready to click the button to check in.

Thanks! Any suggestions for how to do this for our return trip? We are NOT bringing a computer and do not have internet on our phones. I'm thinking about having a VERY RELIABLE friend do it for us. Any place in WDW where we can do it ourselves? I've heard ask in the lobby but am concerned that they may get busy and not do it exactly 24 hrs ahead...

We do this all the time. WHile you could certainly have a reliable friend do it, youy can also go to customer service at any of the parks and they will do it for you as well. That is what I used to do prior to having my blackberry. You could also purchase the early bird check in for $10 and have it done for you by SW. I have never had a problem getting all 4 of us to sit together (in 2 rows obviously) even with C boarding passes.

You can also purchase Early Bird Check in for $10 a ticket and SWA will check you in for you. You only need to print your boarding passes within 24 hours of your flight. We usually print them at the airport when we check our bags.
