We want to jump on the lower rates for SW. DD is 98% certain he will be able to get off but won't know 100% until next month. If we need to cancel - it says on the site
Fares are nonrefundable but may be applied toward future travel on Southwest Airlines for the originally ticketed passenger only.
Should a passenger fail to apply the nonrefundable ticket toward the purchase of future travel within the eligibility period, the entire amount of the fare, which includes without limitation, all fees, taxes, and charges, will be forfeited.
Can anyone tell me WHAT the eligibility period is? Say we can't use the tickets at the end of August of 2012 - can we put the money then towards tickets for August 2013? Or by what date would we need to apply them by.
