I have always flew nonstop on Southwest, we have a flight with a connection for an upcoming trip. My question is when you check in and get an assignment for boarding is is for both flights or do I need to check in again for the second half of the flight. We change planes, it is not the the same plane. Thanks

Just to clarify, if you are checking in from home, or where ever at T-24, then you will get a boarding pass number for each leg of your flights. It is not necessary to print them out if you have to check luggage or deal with the counter or baggage check in. They will print your BPs then. If you are only taking carryon, then have your BP printed out from home, or at one of the kiosks near the SWA ticket counters, and just head to security.
