Southwest and Carry-ons

Does SW count a diaper bag as a carry-on or personal item? I'd like to bring both my backpack diaper bag and another bag of necessities on the plane (both will fit either under the seat or n the overhead) but I don't see a diaper bag listed on their website as a personal item.

as carry ons, 1 in the overhead and 1 under the seat. As long as they are of appropriate size for the space, SWA doesn't care what the bag is.

For the record, I don't think any airline cares what the bag is.

FWIW, if your child has a ticket, they are ALSO entitled to two carry on bags.
