Southwest Airlines to start flights out of O'hare!

They will be starting flights out of O'Hare sometime next year.

Very exciting for us on the Northwest side! :D
Yes ... saw it on FB this morning. I imagine the flights will be loaded for the next schedule extension in December.

So happy to see this! We're in Chicago right by Midway, but the extension to O'Hare may mean better options for us.
 

They’re going to start flying out of IAH (north side of Houston) again too. I’m excited - we’re hoping it will cause airfares to drop a little by giving the other carriers some competition. The airport SWA flies out of now is too far away from us to be practical for us to use.
 
I am so excited for more flight options out of Chicago. I am equal distance to both airports so this is great news!
 
This also helps people like me who always have to connect through a hub like Chicago to go anywhere, especially internationally.
