Southwest Airlines Fare Availability for October 2011

I wonder when SWA will announce the October 2011 fares or have them available more so.

So far, they have up to Aug. 12th....wonder when they decide to release more dates?

According to SW's site: We are currently accepting air reservations through August 12, 2011. On February 8, we will open our schedule for sale through September 30, 2011. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently.

Thank You....I couldn't find it on their site...was going to call, but the wait is like 49min. I guess the snow storm and all is tying up the lines.

That sounds about right...hopefully beginning of March....October dates will be ready!!!

I got RT for $150 from STL-MCO....in the first couple weeks of their October offerings a couple years ago...really good for STL. Really, anything $200/less for RT tickets to MCO is good from STL.

That's us too! I've been checking from Mem-Mco in October for AirTran..and they say their not booking that far in advance though. All these news tickers saying flights are going to go up, is making us anxious! We usually get RT for under $200 also, but whew...right now on the other airlines, their all close to 350...or more!

Here's hoping pixie dust comes our way!!

SW is opening up flights through the beginning of November on March 14. This was in an email I got from them. I hate that they make you wait so long to book. Really stinks for folks who like to plan ahead!!

Travel Tools is a drop down box located above black "Rapid Rewards" portion of the main tool bar across the top of the screen. It is also located directly under the search box/go area.

If you click the red triangle beside the word "travel tools", it will display a menu list. Click "view all travel tools".

also waiting for october..airtran has until october 15th posted, so far our flight out on airtran is $164..(coming home flight is not yet posted )hoping to get under $250 rt on sw.... here's to hoping

We have our Sept 28 flight booked but have to wait until Monday March 14 to book our Oct 2 flight. Any answer to what time flights are released? Thanks!

Well, they're out. They sure our expensive though. Would cost 1448 to fly 4 of us round trip. Think I'll wait for a bit. Wish I knew all the ins and outs of getting a good deal. Just keep checking their site and hoping to stumble upon a code I suppose.

WeE settled for US Air for $110 a seat. SW is $160 right now. I think we can get away with carryons since it is a 4 day trip. I also liked the times of our flights with US Air more than those offered on SW.
