I tried putting in various days from MHT to Orlando but couldn't find it. Has anyone found this from their area?

If you are checking on the Southwest web site, make sure you scroll all the way over to see the Internet specials--I missed out on a good one that way one time--and don't forget to check on Tuesday mornings for new internet specials-

I have been checking Southwest site every day (sometimes 2x per day) for several weeks now. I haven't seen a $39 price......the lowest I've seen was $44 back in January. Was this a fare you saw listed somewhere? I'd be very intereseted in being able to find a $39 fare!!

Thanks!

Thanks TNErnie, I'll keep an eye on that.

Sammy, didn't mean to get you all excited!:p It was not a specific fare listed, the $39-$99 deal is listed under promotional specials on their home page.
Was the $44 from MHT?

good luck!

Hi again:

No, the $44 ($88 RT) was from Hartford, but at that price, I'd drive the 90 minutes from Nashua!! Unfortunately, DH's employment status was shaky at the time (January), and I didn't book the flights. Now I'm sorry I didn't!! SW out of MHT is still pretty inexpensive compared to others I've seen (currently around $130), but we'd like to go in September and their schedule doesn't go that far yet. I guess I'll just continue on with the obsessive checking every day!

It pays to checkout the southwest site on a weekly basis. They update their internet specials every Tuesday. I purchased roundtrip tickets from Jackson MS to MCO for 62.00 rt. The fact that it is a nonstop flight is an extra bonus. It pays off to be patient and persistent. Disney May 2002:bounce:

checking back frequently sounds like good advice!
Sammy, your husband doesn't work in the airline business does he? (mine does)

Nope, not the airline industry.....computer networking. If your DH works for the airlines, do you get any kind of discount or "perks" for airfare? My uncle works for USAir and I know he and his wife can fly free (although they have to fly standby). They can also get "buddy passes" which I believe are half-price tix for anyone who flys with them (again, on standby). I guess the only problem would be that Orlando is such a popular destination, flying standby is not a good option.
