Well, was right online at 9pm for when our time opened up to book excursions. It was a joke, Aruba and Bonaire were booked up. I honestly thought they might hold some things open for each category to have some access. Bummer

Check back a couple of times a day. People change their mind and drop them, and I think they do open additional spots when there is high demand for something. I couldn't get the excursion I wanted in Progreso when it opened for me to book, but about 3-4 days later it was available.

and def check on the app once you have the ship version of the app in the terminal. A lot of the excursions are opened up again once boarding but no need to go to the desk, you can find them on the app too.

Had the same issue on the 9 night last July. Booked late and zero excursions left. Ended up with the exact ones we wanted. People cancel and then DCL added more spots to sold out excursions. Just keep checking.

People go in day one and grab what they think they want. Especially if they're even considering one of the popular ones. Then if they decide against it they'll drop it. Check back regularly to see if anyone dropped the one you want. I'd also consider booking a back up plan for now if there is anything else you're interested in.

We are on the 2024 10 Southern and silver and I’m afraid that the same thing is going to happen to us. About 50% of the FB group is platinum or higher, and I am nervous that there won’t be even chances for Palo dinner or excursions.

There won’t be right away when you book, but just check every day and especially check when you board the ship. The long cruises are fantastic no matter what other experiences you get.

Keep checking. I literally cancelled an excursion on Aruba and a tasting on this cruise within the last 15 minutes because we booked a private excursion and changed our mind on the tasting. Stuff will come open if you're there to find it. Good luck.

This happened on the 9 Night Southern on Fantasy last July. We were silver. Those cruises are very platinum heavy. In fact, many of the people on our 2022 cruise are doing the one this summer. We did get excursions we wanted at every port, except Dominica. We didn't necessarily get our top pick though. We like to snorkel, which doesn't seem quite as popular. Dominica was a new port for DCL and not many ships go there. So we booked an outside excursion, which we rarely do. We also couldn't get any tastings beforehand and only dinner at Remy. We got 2 tastings while waiting at the terminal, and that was after 1pm. Also, see if they are doing any sign-ups for tastings on board. We also got a Remy brunch on board after getting on the waitlist. They also had a Remy dessert available later, but it was the same day as our Remy brunch. We asked if we could swap, but they said no. I couldn't get the massage I wanted beforehand, so I got 8pm on the first night. We had first seating, so it wasn't a big deal. It was actually a really nice way to start the cruise. Good luck! Options will come up.

I did reach out to Woodwind Bonaire on Monday via email but haven't heard back as of yet. Honestly, not sure how that's making me feel. :confused3

I’m on the same cruise. We’re platinum and the things we wanted on Aruba and Bonaire were not available when booking began for platinum. About a week after opening day we managed to grab the catamaran on Bonaire and right before gold opened De Palm had openings for us to finally book. There was not a lot at both to choose. I say keep an eye open. Just 2 days ago de palm had availability again. We still couldn’t find anything to do on Antigua for us oldies. The young ones all booked ziplining.

I keep checking throughout the day. We did the ziplining last summer, it was a blast. Easy to do but a lot of climbing steps. Thinking if nothing turns up we will taxi to Arusha ourselves and hang out for the day.

We like to snorkel too so maybe there’s a chance. Don’t want to do any tastings but a Palo dinner and brunch would be nice sometime over 10 days. We did just go on the Dream over Spring a break and we’re able to book Palo brunch once onboard despite no availability prior to that So here’s hoping!
