When's the best time of year/month to visit DisneyLand and Southern California?

Plus, how many days does an adult family really need to visit the DisneyLand Parks in order to see everything? We will also be visiting other parks of Southern California.

Thanks.

Best what? Best weather? For warmth? For coolness? For rain? Lowest crowds? Least refurbs? Most entertainment?

Check this out:

As for number of days, DLR needs four days to have a solid visit. Five is better. DLR actually has more rides at its two parks than all four WDW parks put together.

Thanks for the link, it was very helpful
Best time to visit with lower crowds, good weather (for DL & beaches)

I was thinking about right on the edge of summer for our visit. (May, June, September or October) We own DVC pts and would love to stay onsite for about 5 nights as well as staying at the Marriott timeshare in Newport coast for 5 - 7 nights.

May and June is too cold for us on the California beaches. We have been cold with sweatshirts at night on July 4th at Huntington beach. Five days will be plenty regardless of the crowds so if you are looking for warm beach days I would look for the best weather and not worry too much about crowds at DL. That being said the 4th will be crazy but is a great time to watch various cities fireworks on the beaches.

There is a big difference in temperatures between the beach and DLR. We always have sweatshirts on hand for the beach part of our trip and bring them to DLR just in case. 19 times out of 20 we do not need them at DLR.
