Has anyone flown Southeast airline? I just priced it out & 4 of us can fly round trip for $604.80 including all fees. This is a savings of at least $100.00 from even Southwest. We would be flying out of Rickenbacker in Columbus, OH into Sanford, FL. Just curious of others experiences. Thanks:wave2:

Do you mean SouthWest?? I never heard of Southeast......P:confused:

Sorry, I had never heard of them. No help from me:rolleyes: ...P

My best friend and her family are using this airlines in July. Out of NY she got a rate of $150 per person!! If your trip is after July I'll let you know what she thought of it. She picked it because of the price and the fact that the airport it flys out of is literally 15min. from her house! It's a small airport and we were surprised they had flights to orlando!!LOL

Our trip isn't until Sept so if you could let me know how her flight went that would be great!!

Thanks:wave2:

I would be interested in hearing also, they just came to PA to our little airport in Allentown and I would love to hear how they compare. I've seen advertised flights for $69 ea way!

We will be flying on Southeast from Columbus in September also. My friend's mom flew from Allentown to Columbus on Southeast last November and she liked flying in and out of the smaller airports. I definitely like the price!

My cousin works as a security screener in the large Columbus airport he was telling me about this carrier at the smaller airport just this weekend.

I wish I had known about this and SW out of Indy. My tickets on airtran for 4 was 810.80 :earseek:

Our family used them this past December over the Christmas holidays....

6 of us flew from Allentown, PA to Tampa....Sanford flights didn't work for my schedule....and how it cost us $760 for 6 tickets....WHOOOOO!!!

It was great...the flight was smooth, and the people very friendly...

Hopefully you will be happy with your decision...I know we were....

We flew with them out of Allentown last October. I have no complaints at all. It is a very basic flight with very few amenities, but I would consider using them again. I liked flying in & out of the smaller airports as well. The drive from Sanford to Disney is about an hour, but I think you get through the airport quicker in Sanford.

Just an FYI if you need to rent a car. I went with Dollar last year and will be using them again for our August trip this year. They are conveniently located in the terminal and I found them to have the best rates for that airport. I am getting an 11 day mini-van rental for $493.00 total including taxes. I booked using code KISS3. I believe that is correct. If it doesn't work, check at www.mousesavers.com. That's where I found the code originally.

Good Luck!!!!

We are actually flying out of Rickenbacker in 10days to go to WDW. We found our best car deal was with National. It will be higher than rentals from MCO because it is a smaller airport. I will let you know how it works out for us!

We have been flying SOUTHEAST since they came to Allentown. We love it! Sanford is a nice small airport but very clean.

The flight attendants and staff were wonderful. We got a cookie, which they bake on the plane :P and a drink. Prior to this we flew on US AIR and all we got was a drink. So if comparing what you get is an issue......SE does the same as the others.

I love the direct flights. We are flying them once again this Christmas for 630$ for 4 of us..roundtrip during holiday times (Dec 23 thru Jan 2).......you cant beat it :)

I think you will be happy with them. The keep to great prices is booking early. They only have so many seats at the advertised 69$ fare...after that they go up til that number sells out then they go up again. So book early for the best rates. I booked mine within a matter of a few hours once the flight times became available.

If I can answer any specific questions....just send them my way. I would be happy to help you.

Stacy

I flew out of Allentown last year into Sanford and we had no problems. We went with a place called Specialty Van rentals. I'd HIGHLY recommend them! We actually got bumbed from the 8am flt to the 8pm flight and we didn't get into Sanford until almost 11:45 at night!! These people came out on their own time and took us to their car place. We got a PT cruiser for the week for $200! I can't say enough about these people. We're using them again when we go down this year too!
