South Shore of Massachusetts!

On a post I made looking for a good deal on airfare out of Logan on the Transportation Board, we realized that a few of us are neighbors living on the South Shore OR some grew up or spent there summers here.

Instead of staying on the Transportation Board, I thought I would move over here and find out who out there is near us! And I'm certain there are some of you out there who know each other all ready, but I'm relatively new here, so I thought I'd find out who you all are-

While I'm not from the South Shore (beautiful area) I am from Mass. I live inland right along the 495 belt.

There are quite a few South Shore Dis'ers and we do have a few Dis Meets a year. Hope you will be able to make one it's always lots of fun to meet the people on these boards.

I grew up on Cape Cod and now live in a town along the 495 belt...not far from my family who are all still on Cape Cod.

So do I get to an honorary South Shore DISser?

I grew up in the South Shore, now I live way up north on the NH border but still in MA

Born and raised in Whitman. And that makes me an official South Shore girl. In fact, my first job was waitressing at South Shore Seafoods (now Whitman Seafood). Then I used to work at Saftler's. All of you South Shore sewers probably know where that is.

I still call the Whitman Police station every Thanksgiving to find out who won the Whitman-Hanson/Abington football game.

I'm not far from Saftler's - Just drive up 18 and hang a right onto 139! When you come to the railroad tracks, just follow them, and you'll find me!

Should we amend the thread to include anybody who's ever driven throught the south shore?
