Recently back from a trip. One thing that I had this trip was the soups at most of the TS we ate at. The soups were all stupendous!!

You hear a lot about the cheese soup at LeCellier, but we had an awesome Sweet Corn soup at Brown Derby. The Tomato Soup at Sanaa was my favorite part of dinner there. I even went back for seconds for the Clam Chowder at the Cape May. I think next time I will forget about the inconsistant lettuce in the salads and just do the soups.

We had Butternut Squash soup at Tony's in 2007. It was the best ever! We were looking forward to it again last year, but we found out that it was a soup of the day selection and they were not offering it on that day.

Soups are a HUGE draw for me at Boma.

You might want to consider it, since they usually have a handful of soup varieties on the buffet. My trick is to get a plate, and balance a couple of soup bowls on it. Then I can get multiple soups in one trip to the buffet. :)

Heh, leave it to Briar.... ;)

I too love the soups at WDW. Have had some incredible ones! My favorites being the Canadian Cheddar Cheese soup at Le Cellier, the Squash soup at Wolfgang Puck, and the Chicken Corn Chowder at Boma. I actually have the receipe for the Chicken Corn Chowder and make it at least once a month. My whole family LOVES it. I've tried making the cheese soup.... that was a failure, LOL.

Another soup that is wonderful besides my favorite Cheddar cheese soup......is the Potato leek soup at Biergarten.......it was so good, I went back for seconds on it......

I agree that the soups are the high point of the Boma experience. The other stuff is good too, but the soups are terrific.:earsboy:

Oh, yes-I love the Butternut squash soup at Boma and Mara (it comes from the same kitchen at both places), the portobello mushroom soup at AP, the lobster bisque at Coral Reef, the vegetable soup at the (now defunct) Pure and Simple CS, the Pumpkin Bisque with roasted nuts on top at Narcoose's (although I think that was a temporary thing), many great soups at WDW.

Heheh, I can't take credit for the "soup bowl trick". I saw one of my friends doing it, and I quickly adopted it. :) I agree that there are a lot of great soups around WDW!

I, too, am a soup fan. . . even in the middle of a hot and humid summer! Though I love love love the cheddar soup at Le Cellier, I also really like the split pea soup at Rose and Crown. So simple yet so delicious!

Disney makes such great soups with a lot of flavor. When I got the recipes I was almost disappointed because they are so easy to make. With all the flavor I thought they would be harder to make. I also love the corn chowder.

The Smoky Portebello Soup at Artist Point was incredible! My DH and I both wanted other appetizers but we wanted to try the soup so we ordered it to split. They brought it to us in two bowls and that was a good idea because after tasting itI probably wouldn't have handed over the bowl.:lmao:

I almost forgot about this soup! It is one of my favorite soups at WDW.
Many people don't like mushrooms. Well, good. More for me! :cloud9:
