Sounds Dangerous $%#&@^$

Ditto. We liked it as well.

Also the sound booths at the exit were fun as well. :stir:

Loved the sound booths too! We spent a good hour playing around. I really, really enjoy this in MGM! My kids loved it too. :thumbsup2

The Monster Sound Show was very entertaining. Sounds Dangerous seems like it was meant as a stop gap until something else could be developed in that space, and then they forgot about it.:earsboy:

I've never seen it, and nor do I have a desire. What you experienced, is what I heard from others and I just can't be bothered to go :sad2:

Plus.....I'm not a Drew Carey fan

It kind of reminded me of a "Firesign Theater" record, but G rated.

Well, then IMO you're missing out on something very funny and different. It really enjoy the show, it's different from anything else at Disney.
My kids loved playing in the sound booth... and recording their own voices and having a disney film played back with them being the characters.

It's worth trying it once. :goodvibes

Its a show based on "Binaural Headphone Audio."

This is a fascinating use of audio technology that is very well-produced.

There is a similarly-designed headphone audio pre-show for Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln at Disneyland.

There was (or still is) a conservation show produced in "Binaural Headphone Audio" about the rain forests over at the Conservation Station at DAK.

If you find no enjoyment in just LISTENING to a program, don't attend this show, its not for you.
But if you are a fan of "audio books" or can appreciate "radio drama", its a great example of the use of SOUND to create an atmosphere and tell a story.

It takes up very little space, and costs next-to-nothing to operate.
I think this is a fine little amusing show.

I think the buzzing around my ear always makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up and I swear it feels like I'm being tickeled!

But it is a wonderfully relaxing cool place on a hot day
So is Stitch, but you won't catch me in there again!

I love Drew Carey, but even he has to know that this "attraction" is lame.

Yeah, the Monster Sound Show was way better. Unless we REALLY need the air conditoning, we skip this.

Hey!!! Wait just a minute there folks...

My DH and I LOVE, i mean LOVE this attraction...

...we get some of our best napping time done in there (while in A.C.) :rotfl2:

it is great for a quick nap time re-charge.

:rotfl: :rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao:

I second that!!! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

My 15 yr old DD loves this show!!!

My boys and I have more fun in the theater outside the show. We still get to cool off and relax in a *usually* quiet place. (only gets loud after the show lets out but only for a few minutes then it's quiet again) I've never done the show and don't plan too. I agree with the poster that said they overestimated Drew Carey's appeal. LOL (though "whose line is it anyway" is pretty funny, according to my sons)

I was going through our list of things that we've missed at our times to WDW and this was one. Guess it's going to stay on that list...I don't need a nap that bad :rotfl2:

We liked it. In WDW, there is a ton of overstimulation. It's nice to have an attraction like this. I won't be going back again and again on one visit. But it's nice to have a little bit of theater for the mind. I do think they need to put a new show in though. But I'd love to see another show of this type.

Jeesh, Sounds Dangerous isn't THAT bad! I don't think Disney's goal was to thrill you like you were plunging down Splash Mountain. It's just a fun little "show" that you can spend some time at to beat the heat. :thumbsup2

I don't recall ever entering Sounds Dangerous in the past, but I am going to give it a shot this year because the Rainforest audio attraction at the AK is terrific and is one of my favs.
