If anyone would be sad to see Sounds Dangerous close, maybe Disney could release the show in MP3 format, so you could turn the lights out and listen to it on your iPod. Same thing.

Funny enough, the show actually has a similar humor style to Drew Carey, with very dry humor (but on a kid's level for the most part).

That exerpt is from a scene where a mischevous little girl coaxes a pair of squirrels to dive into the sisters pants (it's not just meant to be it's own music video). Not one of their best episodes, but that music video is the first thing that came up on Youtube LOL

SD is so boring as to be irrelevant as it is - any change can't get any worse. Worst case what will I do? Not go to the new show the way we don't go do SD now? Is that a downgrade? I know nothing about F&F but would welcome any effort to do something different in that currently useless space.

I don't think Disney Channel shows are strong enough properties to become attractions (save for HSM which kinda started a life of its own), since they're just not familiar with that many people

that is exactly what I was thinking. While I do know the show, and only because I have kidlets who watch it, how many others with say "who??" I did not like SD at all, so I am happy they are replacing it but not sure a Disney Channel show is the way to go, but what do I know?

I have to agree. The tv shows come and go so quickly it would kind of be a waste of money to base a ride or show on it, jmo. DH and I can't stand this show, we find the songs insanely annoying (squirrels in my pants? really?), but it'll go away eventually

Will see if this plays out or if it's just another rumor. If they do open it, we'll just skip it.

On another note, why do they need to start making the characters more and more absurb looking? like tinkerbell..if her eyes got any more angled and her nose any more gone, she will look like a fish soon. and it seems like the new princess is modeled the same way. I dont get it

Phineas and Ferb is a great show surrounded by crap. I personally think Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverley Place, Jonas brothers, Zack And Cody and every other live action pile on the Disney Channel are all just about the worse things I've ever seen. I know they are intended for teens but they are just God awful. I'm not saying P&F is an all-time Disney classic but compared to what surrounds it, it is a real gem. I also think Sounds Dangerous has run its course. Tirade over.

well, Sounds Dangerous was a dud from the start. I still prefer the old show they had in there with Chevy Chase.

Anyway, just saying that putting anything there to replace Sounds Dangerous would be an improvement is finding the easy way out and Disney shouldn't be in the business of that.

I knew my FAS daughter looked a little too much like Tink...I just couldn't place what looked so much alike. Thanks for clearing it up. From one adoptive parent to another, thanks for doing what you do. My FAS/RADling makes my life a daily adventure.

I know Drew personally through our political endeavors and even consider him an acquaintance. Unfortunately, I hate his show- we even discussed this once and he laughingly admits that it isn't his best work. That said, I <3 Dr. Doofenshmirtz

Please bring P+F to Disney. I was hoping they would replace the stitch show at MK with them but this would be better. My 3 yo keeps singing "phinadroids and ferbots."

I also think a movie version would help extend the life of the characters past that of the show. So many of the old disney shows are unavailable and forgotten but they are at the parks anyway such and Kim Possible and JoJo Circus. They really could use a Disney Classic channel to go along with ESPN Classic.

You know, I think a Phineas and Ferb show would be way better than Dtitch's Great Escape. P+F are very futuristic when it comes to ideas.

I hope they do make something with Phineas and Ferb now, there's alot of ideas they can come up with with those characters. I hope Perry and Dr. Doofensmirtz come into the attraction too!

Phineas and Ferb is much more than "Squirrel in My Pants". It appeals to kids and adults. It encourages imagination and has humor for all age groups. Before you compare it to a womanizing Drew Carey whose show has outrun its course, you should at least watch 1 or 2 episodes first. JMO

Off topic, but the music on Phineas and Ferb is amazing. Every episode has at least one brilliant original song.

My DD11, myself 39 and even my DH 43 like that show.
