SOS! Internet Access

I take internet classes and discovered that I have to log in to my university at least three days out of the week or my attendance goes down. Now, all I need is to simply LOG ON. Does anyone know of any place in disney where I don't have to pay $5-10 an hour just to use their internet for 5 minutes? I know that all rooms have hi-speed internet access but I don't have a laptop nor is it free. It's been a couple years since I last visited, but doesn't DisneyQuest have internet access? If anyone has some helpful tips I'd be EXTREMELY grateful!!

Not sure about the internet access part of your question, but can you have someone else at home log in for you? It's not like they'd have to do any work.

That's one option I'm holding on to. However, I've just been informed that one of my other classes requires participation which means that I have to REPLY to discussion questions. I'm really thinking I'm just going to have to bite the proverbial bullet and pay to use a computer at either the Grand Floridian or Contemporary. Oh well. Thanks so much for your help!

DisneyQuest did still have Internet access when I was there in December. It's up by where you can buy Cheesecake Factory desserts. It seems to be limited, or at least kind of hard to use. Others in my family have tried to do things on it and gotten frustrated. If you could do it once at least, it would save you having to log in from the hotel that day. Good luck with it!

We stayed at the Buena Vista Palace (next to Downtown Disney) last November and they had PCs with free internet access. Not sure if this will still be the case. They are located on the ground floor near the elevators.

We were just in WDW in July 12-29. Disney Quest still has internet access. If you only need to log in, then I would get there as close to when it opens,11:30-12:00, because there won't be anyone in the Internet Cafe at that time. We went almost every day (DS is 14 and LOVES DQ) and I was always able to get a computer without a wait, as long as I was there soon after opening.

we stayed at The Coronado last year and after finally getting the internet in the room to work ( after we paid for it) found several people in the lobby working on laptops ...apparently there is wireless there. That resort is used a lot for conventions so perhaps that is why. Where are you staying...did you ask if there is wireless in the lobby?..do you have laptop with wireless...maybe others know more..?...
