SOS Epcot Resort Lounge Lizards!!!

I can't find a concierge room ANYWHERE in the "World" from October 19-24th, much less any of the Epcot resorts. I AM BUMMED!!!! I have a std room at BW for 1 night and then 4 nights at FQ, and I feel very lucky that I'm going at all.....but man I got so spoiled at the AKL last year, that I dont know if I can keep away from a concierge lounge ever again!!! Nothing available that whole time....is it a lounge lizard convention? I never got my invite!!!

It seems to be shaping up to be a very busy week!!!!

The resorts are "VERY" booked for that time, even the S/D. I made reservations several months back and got one of the last regular rooms at the Swan.

There are a few very big conventions going on along with the F&W. I believe the conventions start to break up that Friday or Saturday (the 23rd or 24th). I didn't have problems making any ADR's in the Epcot area so I think it does have a lot to do with conventions. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of gala events going on inside and outside the resorts.

Guess you have to be happy with what you have, but I'm sure you can try back periodically to see if there were any cancellations.

I made my reservations just after New Years for Oct 21-30th at BWI. I got THE LAST ROOM!!! I was freaking out because at first she said they had no rooms at Epcot at all. Then I said I had to have BWI, Y/BC or S/D, I was on hold forever and she came back to say there was one more standard at BWI. That is what I had wanted and I was soooo happy! I guess that place will be packed with conventions most of Oct. The Disney agent said that sometimes it is good when the hotels are booked with conventions because they tend to be at the convention for most of the day, freeing up space at the parks. We'll see..........
