Sorry....Room Night Minimum again!

Hey, just trying to get my head around the dreaded room block! There will be 22 of us total (could be less) and some of DFs family are saying they don't want to stay on site as they have a villa. Has anyone NOT met their room night minimum? If so, what happened? It's the one bit that's worrying me most about the wedding! Any help or advice is greatly received! Thanks

I have never heard of anyone not meeting their room-night minimum—well, I should say, I have never heard of anyone being penalized for not meeting their room-night minimum. Talk to your sales consultant about your concerns—s/he can lower the number of nights you must guarantee (you just don't get the free night if you don't reach 25).

Thanks for the reply. I will email my consultant. It's been worrying me the last few days! I think the majority of the guests will stay atleast a couple of nights, I was just fretting about the 'what if'. Thanks for the help!

I was having this same problem, I'm from Orlando and most of my family and friends live here so I have almost no one wanting to stay the night.. I e-mailed my coordinator and she said that there is no longer any rules on having a guaranteed amount of nights reserved. You do still have to have 25 in order to get your free night but that's it!

I am so glad to hear this, as most of the people I will be inviting usually stay off-site at a timeshare. Phew
