sorry.. one more cooler question

so far everything i have read is that coolers and drinks (soda,wine) is not allowed to be brought on board.. and we can't bring any snacks just to have in our room?

I have also heard from many of you that you do bring the soft sided coolers with your own water/soda/wine on board with you as a carry on not checked luggage.

So.. is it a problem to bring the rolling soft sided cooler on board the ship with some soda/water and or wine in it?

The last thing I want after buying all that and dragging it along with us is to be told we have to leave it behind before boarding.

No problem...carry-on soft-sided coolers, without ice that would melt and spill, containing all manner of drinks, snacks, etc, is fine...Or you could ship the stuff to DCL and it will magically appear in your stateroom before you arrive...

I've cruised 3 times since my son has been born (now 4 1/2) and I've never had a problem with bringing snacks and drinks onboard at all. I've put them in my luggage and brought on carry on. I can't live w/o my mt.dew and I like having my sons favorite snacks in the stateroom. You should be ok!

I'm currently on the Magic and we rolled on in our soft cooler 6 bottles of wine & 18 (give or take 1 or2) diet coke cans. No problem, and I agree w/ not putting ice in it when boarding, wait til you get on board. Our Room host has kept the cooler stocked part way full of ice each day so we can chill the champayne & sodas well.

We also picked up sodas in Cabo yesterday and brought them back on board...the teenagers needed their Red Bull!
