Sorry, not a FW question, but still a camping question..

Have any of you ever driven your camper to Myrtle beach from the north? We will be coming from Michigan, and last time we went to Myrtle beach we went through the mountains, I think we took 77. It was a nightmare for us flatlanders! I believe it was west Virgina. Any way, is there a way to get there and bypass the HUGE mountains? We travel through TN to get to WDW, but those mountains on I-75 pale in comparison to the ones we saw on the way to SC!
We would love to go back, but we are afraid to drive again!

you could go 75 down to tenn and go left thru knoxville then to ashville, then to columbia to myrtle beach. we've gone both ways to myrtle beach from novi mich
